The solidarity of the IMS is expressed on a daily basis. It is already particularly present in taking into account delicate situations such as those encountered with Option 5 dedicated to helping communities with few resources, or with exceptional aid from the Social Fund or with the extension of the absence advance fee.

 

From now on, the IMS wishes to strengthen the care relating to beneficiary members suffering from cancer. Thus, since April 19, 2023, new therapies are eligible for 100% aid :

 

• hospital stay or chemotherapy sessions, radiotherapy, brachytherapy, immunotherapy = 100% assistance
  (in a hospital in the medical network, request reimbursement no later than 48 hours before treatment)
• purchase of cancer-related drugs (before or during the stay / hospital sessions) = 100% assistance
  (in a pharmacy in the medical network, present the third-party payment card so as not to advance the costs)
• hormone therapy = 100% help for Options 1, 2 and 4
  (in a pharmacy in the medical network, present the third-party payment card so as not to advance the costs)

 

Group managers are asked to ensure that the invoices and/or supporting documents mention the nature of the therapy; hospitalization invoices, for their part, indicate the reason for and dates of the stay.

 

Always with a view to facilitating the submission of requests and therefore the issuance of aid, Group managers can add a declaration of honour (Form 8) in order to provide details to the files (model available in the Documentary Resources of the site ).
