Father James Gachigi Mukuha, new head of the East Africa Section

Rev. Fr. James Gachigi Mukuha, a diocesan Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru, was born on 2nd April 1986, in Nyeri Kenya.

 

He studied in St. Bonaventure Kaheti Boys High School for His High school studies, in his youth life he showed interest in priesthood and the vocation was nurtured for the love of Christ. This led him to join St. Mary’s major seminary in Molo for his initial Seminary formation, he later Joines St. Augustine Major Seminary Mambanga for his philosophical studies and then St. Mathias Mulumba Major Seminary for his Theological Formation, graduating with both Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and Religious studies and Bachelor of  Arts in theology. He was ordained a deacon in the year 2015 December 12th and a Priest in The Year 2016 December 17th.

 

Since then, he has served in turn.

  1. 2016-2017 Jan….Assistant Parish Priest, St Joseph Larmudiac Parish.
  2. 2017-2019 Oct….Parish priest St Joseph Larmudiac Parish
  3. 2019-2022 Dec….Parish Priest Our Lady Queen Of Peace- Mau Narok.
  4. 2023-2024 Dec….The Diocesan  Procurator, The Administrator St. Mary’s Pastoral Center, The Administrator Mater Dei College of Hospitality, at the same time assisting at St. John Upper Subukia and the group manager of IMS .

He is Currently pursuing  a Bachelor of Public Relations and Diplomacy at Mt. Kenya University-Kenya.

He is the Responsible incharge of East Africa Section[group number 8].

Under the Clarion A health Priest and Religious Man and  Woman is a health Church. He looks forward to ensuring the group grows even further.
