nternational Missionary Benefit Societycelebrated its 60th anniversary in 2025.. A symposium on the theme of social protection around the world kicked off the anniversary celebrations on 27 November.
It featured high-quality presentations on health issues, particularly for religious workers: the unique opportunity offered by IMS; the need to consider regional health issues and limited access to healthcare in West Africa; the importance of health for priests and bishops in the face of ageing and high healthcare costs; as well as an overview of global health challenges... This gives us a glimpse into the future, where there is still so much to be done to support the most vulnerable, through proven measures such as reduced contributions and exceptional assistance.
